1990 Chevy C1500 Customer Update - Motor back in and some interior back in the truck! Coming along.

Mike from @Mikesmoneypitgarage here to work on our customers truck. We stab the motor in...twice. Finish the column swap, get the new dash and carpets installed.

The truck is a 1990 Chevy C1500. This rig was originally a work truck with manual windows, rubber floor, no trim, square single headlight. The customer has had some previous work done to it like the frame getting coated, lowered, nice set of wheels, headlight conversion and fog lights.

We are replacing the bad v6 with a rebuilt 4.3L for fuel economy. The customer wants a truck that will last a very long time, be gentle on drives and a fun truck to cruise around in.

We are going to be installing a new radio, new AC system, we cleaned the AC ducting and rebuilt his AC box. 4 new speakers. This thing is looking AMAZING.

We cannot wait to get this back to him and see his smile as he drives this beautiful rig around.

We sourced all the trim panels, used adhesion promototer and painted them. Swapped from a non tile to a tilt column, replaced mirrors, new sun visors, new dash, small fixes and touch ups. The list just goes on and on.

We may have under estimated the amount of work it would take but this has been a blast to work on and we love it!
