Big Bugs Sculpture Exhibit at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley 3D 180 VR

This 3D 180 VR video is a visit to the Big Bugs exhibit, a selection of ten sculptures which are currently on display at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) in Winchester, Virginia. Created by artist David Rogers, these Big Bug sculptures have toured public and private botanical gardens and nature centers throughout the United States since 1994. To create the giant bugs, Rogers used various combinations of found or fallen trees, cut green saplings selectively harvested from the willow family, dry branches, and other forest material. The Big Bugs exhibit provides information about the world of insects, the role they play in the plant world, and their interconnectedness to our lives. Big Bugs is scheduled to be at the MSV through November 15, 2020.
