This giant mutant SPIDER may give you arachnophobia

Have you ever seen a two-metre long mutant spider scuttling over your local bridge? Inhabitants of Samara thought they did when they watched Dmitry Kataev’s online video.

The truth, thankfully, is that this enormous spider is NOT real. Kataev created the fearsome arachnid using 3D animation, adding the image on to pre-recorded footage that spread like wildfire through social media.
