Hello! Today we are making a simple Synthwave track. To enhance the retro vibe of this song we are going to convert it to VHS. This makes for a genuine VHS effect rather than a plugin. I have provided links to the boxes you would need to make the conversion. However, there are many ways to do this. I just already own these video conversion boxes from previous projects. I hope you enjoy this little experiment. Let me know what you think. If you listen closely you can tell that the VHS affects the audio by making the track narrower, cutting much of the low end out, and of course the texture of the tape itself.
