Miso-making, Yoga and Kombucha: A Wholesome day ❤️

Vlog on probably my most wholesome day ever where I learnt how to make miso, took a yoga class and tried home-made kombucha in an old, beautiful Japanese house by the beach.

MAKE YOUR OWN MISO
Makes 4kg Miso
Ingredients:
-1kg dry soybeans
-1kg koji (malted rice)
-Salt 400g (plus 50g for sprinkling over top)

1.Wash soybeans
2.Soak 1 parts beans to 3 parts water for over half a day.
3.Boil for 5-6 hours.
4.Steam for about 4 hours/ 20-30 mins in a pressure cooker.
5.Mix together Koji and salt
6.Mash up soybeans with your hands
7.Add the koji and salt mixture to the soybeans
8.Keep mashing up mixture until smooth texture.
9.Store in cool container, sprinkle the salt over top, and store at room temperature for at least 6 months.
