GCTV20: Russian Wheat Aphid - Recommendations for ongoing management.
Grain growers should continue to monitor crops for Russian Wheat Aphid. GRDC & the grains industry recommend a FITE strategy - Find symptoms of RWA damage; Identify the aphid as RWA; delay use of chemical control until RWA population Thresholds are reached; and Enact an appropriate management strategy taking into consideration any impact on beneficials and bees.
