I was commissioned to build this mirrored glass 1400mm x 1400mm coffee table by a client who was moving to a brand new house. The main body was covered in mirrored glass on top & on the sides (300mm), attached to a 1000mm x 1000mm x 100mm base, spray painted with matt black ebony effect lacquer.

The carcass construction was 3/4" (19mm) plywood & the mirrors were attached with a specialist mirror adhesive which cured in hours, but I left overnight to be safe.

It weighed in at around 100kg & just fit in the back of my pickup truck for delivery - I build a roll cage in 50mm x50mm redwood to protect the piece during transport & to roll on to its side to get through the clients doorways.
