The goal of treatment is to achieve a painless plantigrade (able to walk on the sole of the foot with heel on the ground) and stable foot.
Long term interval follow-up care is required until the child reaches skeletal maturity.
Contact the health care provider (HCP) Immediately if signs of neuromuscular impairment are noted in a child with cast or brace.
