CARAMEL PUDDING CAKE

*Use 9 inch cake mould

Recipe :

Caramel layer :

- 3 - 4 tbsp granulated sugar

Pudding Layer :

- 1 can evaporated milk (370ml)
- 3 eggs (grade A)
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp sweetened condensed milk
- 2 pieces flat breads (discard the crust/heels)
- 1 tsp vanilla essence

Chocolate Cake Layer :

- 1/3 cup (35g) cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup (150g) castor sugar
- 1 cup (260ml) evaporated milk
- 3/5 cup (130g) cooking/vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup (100ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 1/2 eggs (grade A)
- 3/4 cup (100g) all purpose flour
- 2/3 tsp baking powder
- 2/3 tsp soda bicarbonate

Tips :

- Steam the cake once the water in the steamer is already boiling
- Cover the cake mould using plastic wrap so that water forming from steaming the cake did not drop into the cake batter
- Let the cake cool down completely before taking it out from the mould
- Refrigerate the cake before consumed
