Common spinal causes of sciatica are talked through including lumbar disc bulges and herniations, central canal stenosis and lateral recess stenosis. Piriformis syndrome and the pinching of the sciatic nerve as it transits through the buttocks and hip is demonstrated.

Sciatic nerve flossing is introduced and an at home exercise to help with sciatic nerve adhesions is taught. Dr. Pedersen teaches how to check your shoes for wear patterns that can help you identify imbalances in your feet and arches.
