Hi everyone! Eid Mubarak..🤗 I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful eid❤

In today's video I am sharing how we celebrated our first eid in Denmark,without our families,who stays in India..We have always celebrated eid with our families..but this Eid was different as our eid was with macca (saudi) time zone...and in India it was next day...

We invited some friends at home for daavat and I made Eid Special Sheer khurma and Chicken Dum Biryani....Do check out my recipe as well..and went for a nature walk to shoot some Family eid Pictures ☺

❤As many of you know Sheer khurma or sheer korma is a traditional recipe that is a must-make for the festival of Eid.

❤Sheer means milk in Persian and khurma means dates, which means 'milk cooked with dates' in English. Sheer khurma is a rich and creamy sevai or vermicelli pudding made by cooking ghee, milk, fine vermicelli, dates, and other dry fruits until they all come together to make a delicious delight.

🌸Ingredients for sheer khurma: (for 4-6 people)
4 tablespoons ghee (divided)
▢10-12 crushed almonds
▢10-12 crushed cashew nuts
▢10-12 whole raisins
▢2 tablespoons crushed unsalted pistachios
▢75 grams fine vermicelli( fine Sevaiyya)
▢1 and ½ litre whole milk
▢5-6 chopped dates or 2-3 big dates
▢½ cup sugar
▢½ teaspoon cardamom powder
° 1/2 cup Milk powder diluted in half water(optional)
° 2-3 tbs Coconut powder( optional)
Saffron for garnish (optional)
🌸Ingredients for chicken Dum Biryani (shadiwali biryani) ( for 4-5 people)

•500 gm Rice
•500 gm Chicken
•2-3medium size Onion
•2-3 Medium size tomato
•Dried garam masala(khada masala) or Any Biryani masala
•1 cup Curd
•1-2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
• 1 tbsp Chilli powder
• 1tbsp coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp turmeric
• 1 tsp Garam masala
• Salt to taste
• fried onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves for garnish
• 2 tsp Ghee/Butter
• saffron/food color optional
