港珠澳大橋行車片段香港往珠海方向 Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge from Hong Kong to Zhuhai

我和親戚一齊乘車經港珠澳大橋從香港到珠海遊玩。我們從北大嶼山公路前往香港的口岸。駕駛者和隨行的乘客可以使用汽車和貨車專用的車輛通關廣場。我們可以留在車內，把我們的身分證拿給關員看，再給海關人員看看車內。那時有只有我們使用個通關廣場，一分鐘內便辦完出境手續。

出了境後，道路便會與中國大陸看齊，採用右上左落的行車模式。我們沿機場島東岸行駛，通過觀景山隊道，然後駛上香港段的高架橋。駛到大嶼山以西的開域便開始見到中國式的路牌，那時便知道已經正式進入中國大陸了。我們要通過一條6.2公里長的海底隊道才駛上主橋。主橋分為三條橋：青州航道橋、江海航道橋和九洲航道橋。為了減低麻煩，我建議未住海底隧道過完橋後便選定你的行車線：要前往澳門靠左行駛、前往珠海選定中或右線。過了橋後要在收費站付錢，私家車的收費為每程150元人民幣。

過了收費站後要靠右前往珠海口岸。駕駛者要獨自通過汽車通道，隨車乘客要攜帶個人物品下車，前往驗放廳辦理入境手續。我有回鄉咭，只需一分鐘便順利地入境。之後下去候車區回到車上便能離開口岸了！首先在瑞吉酒店吃點意大利餐吧!

I crossed the newly built Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge by car over to Zhuhai with my relatives. We got off the North Lantau Expressway to reach the Hong Kong checkpoint. Clearing immigration was easy, since there is a large Vehicle Clearance Plaza reserved for cars and trucks which is largely underused. Right hand traffic is used beyond Hong Kong immigration to be consistent with Mainland China.

We drove along the eastern shore of the Hong Kong Airport island, before entering the Scenic Hill Tunnel. We then made our way west via a viaduct. As we drove past the western end of Lantau Island, we started seeing Chinese road signs. That was when we were officially in the Mainland China. We had to go through a 6.2 km Undersea Tunnel before getting on the Main Bridge. To make life easier, I will recommend pick your lane before you enter the tunnel, based on your destination. Stay in the left lane for Macau and either of the other two lanes for Zhuhai.

The Main Bridge consists of 3 bridges: The Qingzhou Bridge, the Jianghai Bridge and the Jiuzhou Bridge. The maximum speed limit is 100 km/h, which is lower than most highways in China. A toll plaza could be found at the end of the bridge. It costs 150 Yuan per way for cars to use the bridge.

Now we have to clear immigration. Passengers clear immigration separately from the driver, who makes his way through the vehicular checkpoint alone. We had to take our personal belongings and walk inside a dedicated inspection hall. Hardly anyone was there, so I cleared immigration in under a minute! We got back on the car afterwards and made our way into Zhuhai for a day of fun. But first, let’s have an Italian meal at the St. Regis Hotel!
