Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge at Night 港珠澳大橋珠海往香港夜間行車片段

We crossed the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge late at night after a day of fun in Zhuhai. After clearing immigration, we paid the toll of ¥150 at the toll plaza and drove onto the Main Bridge right away. The three named bridges, Jiuzhou, Jianghai and Qingzhou Bridges are lit up with lights with transitioning colours at night. It was quite a sight as we crossed the bridge. We then entered the 6.2km Undersea Tunnel and emerged at the actual border between the Mainland China and Hong Kong.

We eventually got back onto the Airport Island and went through the Scenic Hill Tunnel, followed by a short stretch along the eastern short of the Airport Island before reaching the Hong Kong immigration checkpoint. Cars and trucks clear immigration through the Vehicle Clearance Plaza, while passengers of coaches and shuttle buses use the Passenger Clearance Building. There was hardly any traffic at the checkpoint that only 4 lanes were open! We stayed in the car, handed our Identity Cards over to the officer behind the booth and she let us through after asking for our names. Customs followed shortly and only required a cursory glance inside the car. And so, we have officially reentered Hong Kong. It took us around 30 minutes to cross the bridge. My relatives will drop me off at Tung Chung Station so that I can take the MTR home.

我們在珠海玩了整天後便乘私家車經港珠澳大橋回香港。出了境和付了過橋費後便立刻駛上主橋。主橋設有三條航道橋: 九洲航道橋、江海航道橋和青州航道橋，在晚上會被漸變色燈光照着，十分美麗。不久後駛進6.2公里長的海底隧道，出了隧道後便越過了中國大陸與香港的邊境。之後香港沿着香港機場島的南岸行駛，再通過觀景山隧道然後沿着機場島東岸行駛。

要入境了。私家車和貨車的乘客可以使用車輛通關廣場。長途巴士和穿梭巴士(俗稱金巴)乘客要使用旅檢大樓。因為車流稀少，只有4條通道正在運作。我們可以留在車內，拿我們的身份證給個關員核對資料。再讓海關人員看看車內便順利入境。我們從大橋的一端駛到另外一端總共花了30分鐘。我的親戚稍後便送我到東涌，讓我自行乘搭港鐵回家。
