10. Tyrannosaur Embryo Fossils
A recent discovery of baby tyrannosaurs shows that some of the largest predators started life about the size of a Chihuahua. National Geographic reports that the fossils of an itty bitty foot claw and a lower jaw belong to tyrannosaurs still in the embryonic stage.

8. Dinosaurs had Ticks

While they were excavating an armored dinosaur called Gastonia, they found the front jaw from a theropod, a class of dinosaurs that includes carnivores like the T Rex.
