Natural Gas Pipe Replacement Project

Turn off your gas at the Meter - vent your lines - open windows and doors - be safe!

When all the pipe is replaced - turn you meter back on - charge the lines - TEST FOR LEAKS - then light your appliances.

My 130 year old home had leaking natural gas pipe joints and valves which posed a serious danger so I took it upon myself to replace them.

Materials Used:
Black Iron Pipe pre-cut and reamed
Pipe Wrenches
Natural Gas Teflon Tape
Natural Gas Pipe Thread Sealant
Black Iron Pipe Nipple Fittings/Reducers/Unions
Leak Testing Spray Solution
