Russian AK47 & AK74 Magazine & Pouch Overview

Today we go over some of the different magazines and pouches issued by Russia for use with the original AK-47, modernized AKM, small caliber AK-74, and RPK light machinegun.

We begin with the first slabside mags, then show both the standard ribbed and experimental waffle patterns which replaced them. Then we talk about several variants made from AG4 fiberglass or as its known today 'bakelite.' Then we get into the polymer plums and true blacks, which are still in use today.

Also, we look at the original 5 cell mag pouch, a few different styles of the 3 cell, and the 4 cell for both the AK and RPK.
