Urbino, the Renaissance City

(PLEASE WATCH IN 1080 FOR BEST EXPERIENCE) Urbino is a city of immense cultural significance and as a result, it is full of treasures. This video explores the art of the town and its contribution to the Italian Renaissance. We will travel through the Ducal palace, discuss the Renaissance giant: Federico de Montefeltro, take a look at a world-class painting by Piero della Francesca, observe what might be the most interesting study in the world, walk through the house that Raphael used to live and take a look at some of his paintings that can be seen in the city. ANOUNCMENT: At this moment, I am accepting tutees. I have 8 months of tutoring experience and have helped many people to cultivate a passion for art though out its history. Classes will take place via zoom. I teach in a way that is tailored to your interests and knowledge level, whether you are a beginner or an enthusiast. the first introductory session is free.
