Relief for Itchy Cat! Treating Skin Allergies - Home Remedies
It is so sad when a cat suffers from skin allergies - they loose fur, develop itchy sores, and will scratch themselves bloody. But in this video we will show you some simple treatments you can do at home to soothe an itchy cat and get her on the road to recovery. Click here to see the FIRST video we made with Abby about treating her allergies: https://goo.gl/aACfiU
Feline allergies can be caused by a number of things such as food, dust, pollen, or flea bites. Abby came to Kitten School with a flea bite allergy causing her to have inflamed, oozing sores and large areas of missing fur. The first step was to get her on a flea preventative to get rid of the fleas! Then we treated the sores and itching with some simple items that can be found in most medicine cabinets. The entire treatment took about two months, but now Abby's sores are gone and her fur is starting to grow back in. If your cat is suffering from a skin condition have a vet examine her first so you know what kind of ailment she has. There are other skin conditions, such as sarcoptic mange and ringworm, which are treatable with medication. The treatments shown here will NOT treat conditions like these.
