Iron Dome intercepts rockets over Tel Aviv; Israeli army shows tunnels

Two Iron Dome interceptor missiles were shot into the sky over the Israeli city of Tel Aviv late on Tuesday to take out the latest rocket fired by Hamas militants in Gaza
Meanwhile, near the Gaza border Israeli soldiers showed off one of the tunnels they say their military incursion into Gaza is aimed at destroying.
Israel unleashed its heaviest bombardment in a 3-week-old war against Hamas on Tuesday, striking symbols of the militant group's control in Gaza and firing tank shells that Palestinian officials said shut down the strip's only power plant.
At least 1,210 Palestinians have been killed, including 109 on Tuesday, and 7,000 wounded since the start of fighting on July 8, a Palestinian health official said.
Israel has reported 53 soldiers and three civilians killed.
