Kalā Sāgara: Featured Vocal Concert by Sri Ramakrishnan Murthy

Michigan Sahana and UM Spicmacay are thrilled to present a thematic vocal concert by Sri Ramakrishnan Murthy, accompanied by Smt. Charumathi Raghuraman (violin), Sri Anantha R. Krishnan (mridangam), and Sri N. Guruprasad (ghatam). The artists have tailored this performance to highlight the topics covered at the Kalā Sāgara conference (www.kalasagara.com)

This concert is under the auspices of the Kalā Sāgara conference hosted by Michigan Sahana from April 10-11th. Kalā Sāgara is a grand collaboration bringing together 8 universities across the United States in a weekend of performances, lecture demonstrations, presentations, and workshops on all aspects of Indian Classical Music and Dance.
