Prostate Carcinoma Pathology ( Morphology and Gleason Grading)
In this video, we will discuss the pathology of prostate carcinoma or prostate cancer.
Firstly we will discuss its gross features, then we will discuss its microscopic features in details along with Gleason grading system.
Gleason grading system is calculated as a score based on the histopathological grade of the tumor ( i.e degree of differentiation) . As Gleason grading is based on the degree of differentiation of tumor, so it serves as an important prognostic factor.
