Dr. Shah Praises Versatility of LinQ Implant | PainTEQ
In this video, Jay Shah, MD, FAAPMR, from the SamWell Institute for Pain Management in Northern New Jersey, discusses the two different ways the LinQ SI Joint Stabilization Procedure can be utilized. Dr. Shah is an Interventional Pain Specialist with experience at the North American Neuromodulation Society as a Director, Co-Chair, and Secretary of the Residents and Fellow Section. He additionally is the Founder and President of the Young Physician’s Council at the Cancer Pain Research Consortium.
Dr. Shah explains how the LinQ procedure was so appealing due to its minimal invasiveness, posterior approach, and fast recovery time. The physician emphasizes how LinQ can be used in two different ways, either as an adjunctive therapy or as a stand-alone treatment.
When used as a salvageable procedure, it can be implemented at any point in the treatment process. In contrast to other treatments, LinQ is long-lasting, whereas other therapies may fail or only last a short time. The procedure may also be instituted early on in treatment because it’s a non-implantable device with a high level of safety and efficacy.
Dr. Shah believes PainTEQ represents a paradigm shift in the medical industry, offering accessible care that is minimally invasive, safer, more successful, and with less downtime. As technology continues to advance, Dr. Shah recognizes partnering with PainTEQ as a step in the right direction towards optimized patient outcomes.
