At the Baltimore funeral for Rep. Elijah Cummings, Hillary Clinton likened the late Democratic congressman to the biblical figure who shared his name. “Like that Old Testament prophet, he stood against corrupt leadership, like King Ahab and Queen Jezebel,” Clinton said, drawing applause. Cummings was the chairman of the House Oversight committee, which is conducting several inquiries into President Donald Trump. “Our Elijah was a fierce champion for truth, justice and kindness in every part of his life,” Clinton said.
