The semi-finals of the 4th Benaulim Constituency Veterans Football Tournament, organised and sponsored by Capt Venzy Viegas, produced thrilling action at the SAG Ground, Vaddie, Benaulim, as Seraulim Veterans Veterans booked their places in the final.
Seraulim Veterans delivered a dominant performance to outclass Benaulim Veterans Blue 5-0. Steven Fernandes and Sandeep Shanke added a goal each, while Jess Fernandes stole the show with a brilliant hat-trick that dismantled the Benaulim defence. For his outstanding display, Jess Fernandes was adjudged Man of the Match and received the award from Fr. Nicholas Dias.
