10: Two-Headed Humans
It’s not every day you see a person with two heads, but that doesn’t mean these types of people don’t exist. You may have seen some suspicious photos online recently of an infant skeleton with two heads rather than one, and I’m here to tell you it’s totally real. I can’t vouch for every last double-headed skeleton out there on the web, but I can tell you that conjoined twins are real, and they are more common than you might think.

9: Dire Wolves
Anyone who has seen Game of Thrones has probably wondered if dire wolves are real. And I'm here to tell you they are absolutely, 100% real. However, they went extinct somewhere between 250,000 and 10,000 years ago. You can't find a dire wolf still living on the planet. But like many mythical beasts, they really did exist!

8: The Bunyip
The Bunyip is arguably one of Australia’s favorite mythical monsters. It's a quintessentially Australian legend, a great beast known to groan and bellow from watering holes and of course prey on unsuspecting humans who aren't paying close enough attention.

7: Liger
Ligers are something that actually exist and even I had no idea until just recently! They actually have one of these amazing creatures at a zoo in Novosibirsk in Russia – and you may even have seen some ligers and tigons in the Netflix hit show Tiger King.

6: Hobbits
Forget Frodo Baggins and the Shire, hobbits are real and they really did walk the earth. At least, scientists say they did. According to a report from USA TODAY, there was apparently a species of tiny beings very distantly related to homo sapiens that once lived on an Indonesian island. An international team legitimately unearthed fossils of tiny creatures that very much resembled humans.

5: The Kraken
Spoiler alert, the legendary Kraken is a very real beast. It's just not what you think it is. For hundreds of years there were legends of the ship-destroying Kraken. Then, people gradually began to disbelieve that anything so megalithic could exist. But like most stories, this one is rooted in truth.

4: Jaglion
We already discussed a liger, and now it’s time to talk about the jaglion. Some pretty wild photographs have been circling on the Internet of a giant cat that is definitely a jaguar, but looks like it could have some lion blood in it.

3: Human Unicorn
If you have ever seen the picture of the man with the unicorn horn sticking out the back of his head, you have probably dismissed it as a fake. However, according to Ripley’s Believe It or Not, human unicorns are real. Robert Ripley supposedly found his first human unicorn back in 1930 after finding a photograph of a Manchurian farmer with a huge, 13-inch (30cm) horn sticking straight out the back of his head.

2: Two-Headed Dolphin
If you have seen the photo of the two-headed dolphin that washed up on a Turkish beach, you might be a little skeptical. And this is not your fault! In a world of fakes, two-headed dolphins are a dime a dozen. But this specific dolphin and its two white heads are very real.

1: Monkey Pig
As always, I have saved the best for last. The monkey pig is the most terrifying thing you will see for the rest of today at least. It's honestly the stuff of nightmares, and you can't help but feel very sorry for the pig. It's not actually a monkey-pig hybrid.
