UPDATE: I added diagonal 1x3's a s cross bracing to the front and back and now the loft is crazy rigid and stable. No swaying side to side even if I try.

This beginner tutorial will show you how to build a loft bed using 2x4s and 2x6 lumber from Lowes. The total wood cost will be about 100 bucks and the other materials such as screws and bolts will be about 20 - 30 dollars. This thing is easy and fast to build, it only took me about 5 hours by myself and I was recording the whole thing and making the video at the same time. This project should take you less than a day from start to finish.
