Amazon is expanding daily ad data access via API from the usual 60 days to 15 months. On top of that, brands now get five years of data at the monthly level.
It means you can pull search term reports going back over a year.
You can actually see seasonality, product launches, and major changes play out over time.

More history means fewer assumptions.
