How to use DPRS with APRS via GPS iComm 5100 (2018)

It took a little doing, and some help from the Papa System DStar net to learn the setting I needed to use my iComm ID 5100 to overlay the DPRS into onto APRS while using the gateway. It's a simple setting and I also discuss why I think understanding the function will add a benefit to your use with a practical example of when and why I use the feature.

If you know how to use the DPRS messaging feature, or if it even exists, then please let me know as I'm still learning how the iComm ID 5100 and DStar works.
