This was my path to how I became a featured Webtoon creator. I didn't follow the traditional path from discover to featured. My path went through self-published, webcomics, and comic conventions. Just a little additional information, I created two graphic novels, 300 pages worth of content, while working a full time job. I self-published these books using kickstarter. They were also webcomics. I had been doing conventions for 6 years before I ran into Webtoon. It wasn't a short path.
