This is part 3 of the series of me making my fence my gate and now installing a handle to my gate. as we were looking for a handle we typically go to Home Depot or Lowe's and in going there and looking at the handles they pretty much all look the same the typical handle you would see on a gate what we decided to do was to wait until we see something interesting. We had an opportunity to go to France for about a week and in doing so We Came Upon a Swap meet which had a lot of antique stores some had a storefront some people just laid it all out and just laid stuff on the ground we found a guy that had the storefront and he had a bunch of used Hardware and we found this great looking brass handle the problem was there was no way to Bolt it on so I had to drill and tap some threads in it so I'll be able to bolt it on this video is how I did that how I drilled and tapped the handle and screwed it on to the door. there's still some other stuff I want to do to my gate into my door so stay tuned to my upcoming videos. and of course, don't forget to check out my other videos,
