Emerging Infectious Diseases of the 21st Century: The Impact of Global Warming on Human Health

Dennis Maki, MD, PhD, presents a talk about the history and evolution of infectious diseases, the rise of global warming and its impact on human health. Dr. Maki is an emeritus professor in the Division of Infectious Disease at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Medicine.

University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine Grand Rounds are presented throughout the academic year and are intended for health care professionals and medical researchers. Unless otherwise indicated, Grand Rounds occurs in the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital auditorium, Room A1028, Madison, Wisconsin.
