The Office of Public Works celebrates International Women's Day 2021
International Women’s Day is a celebration of the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Officially recognised by the United Nations in 1977, this global day draws attention to women's rights and marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality.
To honour International Women’s Day, the Office of Public Works (OPW) has created a series of videos showcasing the journeys and experiences of three inspiring women within our organisation. The OPW is in a unique position to highlight the range of opportunities and experiences available to women across multiple disciplines, including engineering, architecture and IT.
This video features Sarah Heery, an Architect with the OPW’s Brexit Unit.
