State Ceremonial event at the Pearse Museum to celebrate the importance of the Gaelic Revival
The event focused on the "An Teanga Bheo" strand of the Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme, with elements relating to the role that the Irish language has held in the past 100 years, as well as focusing on the life and legacy of PH Pearse with the opening of a permanent Exhibition.
The event comprised a keynote speech which was delivered by the President of Ireland, as well as musical and theatrical elements.
