Gayle King on Staying Positive in Today’s News Climate

On this week’s Molner’s Table, CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King takes a break from the news to speak with KCM CEO John Molner. Gayle has just finished a two-week quarantine at her close friend Oprah’s house in southern California. Some takeaways:

On covering the news: “There’s no way you can take all of this in and not feel affected by it.”

Looking ahead to November, Gayle says, “This country will get the president it deserves because we are the ones who are making that choice.”

Words to live by: Gayle quotes the poet Maya Angelou saying, “People may not remember what you said or what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.”
