This King's Internal Organs Were Boiled After His Death!
One of the most heroic and iconic Medieval Kings to have reigned over England was Henry V, the Hero of Agincourt. He was a fearsome military leader and his campaigns against France even united the two crowns. But he had a rather horrific death, and in this the way his body was treated is today considered disturbing. The King had his internal organs removed during embalming, and these may have even been cooked!
