Get Into Dance Workshop: Candoco Dance Company

In this inclusive dance workshop, Candoco Dance Company challenges us to expand our perceptions of what dance can be.

Candoco dancers Toke, Olivia, Meg and Mika lead you through a series of exercises inviting you to think creatively about your movement and the environment around you – sharing an insight into Candoco’s everyday practice in the studio!

We start with a warm up exercise called 'milling' then move into an improvisation technique using action words to create our own unique sequence of movement, before the all-important 'cool down'.

Remember you can pause and replay at anytime to repeat any of the exercises in this workshop. Always listen to your body, set your own pace, let your creativity flow and feel the joy of moving together. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback in the comments below.
