Developers will then build a tall, skinny home on that land, and sell it for $2 Million. All of this in the country (Canada) that has the 2nd largest land mass in the world, Russia being the largest. They've got a problem, yet they're proud of the high real-estate prices in Canada, seeing it as "a good thing" - but for anyone younger than 40 and dreaming of owning a home and starting a family, it's a very sad disaster! Their dreams have been stolen, they'll rent for life.
[2] Governments spends $'s they do not have, stealing from future generations, then simply Print $'s out of fresh air to pay for their boondoggles. Of course those $'s become worth less and less each time (eventually worthless) and meanwhile people who are selling something of real value - like a home, will ask for more and more of those now constantly devalued $'s, for their lovely homes.
