Marriage Chronicles: How to Speak over you Marriage

Although marriage is a wonderful gift, there will be times when you find it challenging. During times of difficulty, who will you turn to for direction and guidance? One of the best ways to improve your marriage is to seek counsel from the word of God, or the Bible. By meditating on these four bible verses, you can strengthen your marriage:

“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.” – 1 Corinthians 13:7-8
Even during times of great difficulty, you should never forget the reasons why you fell in love with your spouse. As love is a powerful emotion, it will give you the strength to endure any obstacles in your marriage.

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” – Ecclesiastes 4:12
For your marriage to endure hardships, it needs participation from you and your spouse. However, when you bring God into the picture, which is the third cord, your relationship becomes closer than ever, making it almost impossible to break.

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32
When you are angry with your spouse for what he/she did, you should master the art of forgiving. By practicing this technique, you will allow your relationship to flourish and reach new heights.

“Be completely humble and gentle; Be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.”- Ephesians 4:2-3
If you want your marriage to have lesser problems in the long run, then you and your spouse should be gentle and humble to one another. By keeping calm and dealing all situations with love and peace, you will always find a solution to all your problems.
