MS Bhaskar is married to Sheela. The couple has a son and a daughter. MS Bhaskar's daughter Aishwarya is a dubbing artist for several leading heroines. His son Aditya Bhaskar will play Vijay Sethupathi's teenage character in 96. He has received an honorary doctorate in entertainment from the International Anti-Corruption and Human Rights Council.
