Ridgid K9-306 w/ I-Clutch

The new Ridgid K9-306 with the new I-Clutch is incredible. Tons of power to clear 3-6” pipes, whether roots, soft blockages or removing scale buildup. 125ft of 3/8” cable with a 1.5hp motor with an integrated I-Clutch.

When descaling I like to use a back and forth motion and clean pulling back with water running allowing the scale I breakup to flush down the line, not piling up or causing a blockage. Making a few passes most times with camera behind to make sure all the scale is removed. It’s important before descaling a cast iron pipe to perform an inspection and evaluation of the pipe.

But for demo purposes due to the amount of questions in my DM I used old piece of cast from a repair. 4” Renssi Carbide Chains. Made a few passes and sprayed some water in to move the scale. The difference is incredible. Check it out. I’ve been using the 306 for months and no complaints yet. I’ll post up upcoming job this week removing thick roots in 6” clay.
