In this installment of Nightmare Masterclass, I'm highlighting the work of Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone. I'll go into Serling's background a bit, and then I'll dissect two of my favorite episodes: "The Monsters are Due on Maple Street" and "Five Characters in Search of an Exit".

I strongly urge you to watch these two episodes before checking out my video. And be sure to catch The Twilight Zone marathon on the SyFy channel. There's no better show to watch in anticipation of the new year.

Also, I will be going into politics at certain points throughout this episode. If you're understandably a little fatigued from this year's never-ending election cycle, feel free to skip this one. And feel free to comment, criticize, and harangue as you please. Please though, if you have a point to make, make it coherent and civil. I welcome all constructive feedback.
