To celebrate the festive season we would like to share with you Bach's twelve days of Christmas. Written to be performed on specific days, these works relate the Christmas story in glorious polyphony.

Bach's Cantatas for Christmas were recorded live on the millennium Cantata Pilgrimage, which saw John Eliot Gardiner and his ensembles, the Monteverdi Choir and English Baroque Soloists, perform all Bach's cantatas on their prescribed day in the Christian calendar in churches across the Western world.
