Programming the ZX Spectrum (Next): The TAP and BASIC formats

I decided to start learning to program on my ZX Spectrum Next ! Since I never owned a ZX Spectrum as a child one of my first steps was to learn about file formats.
In this video I give a quick introduction how I got into programming retro computers, I take a detailed look at the TAP and BASIC formats for the ZX Spectrum / Next and how they could be used in developing for these systems.

The utility suite I wrote for this video is "zxtaputils", the source code is available on github (MIT License): https://github.com/weiju/zxtaputils

They are also available as a Python 3 package on pypi.org, the package name is "zxtaputils".
