Injured Iraq War Vet Michael Pyatt Ignored by Army
Michael Pyatt stands on the front porch of Bonne Terre home on Thursday. Pyatt, who was injured in Iraq in August of 2005, was declared permanently disabled by the Department of Veterans Affairs. But despite his efforts he still has not received a medical evaluation from Army doctors that would declare him unfit for duty, which would qualify him for benefits for his injuries.
