Reviewing Sony's beastly PS5 after a week of gameplay testing, with my 7 best reasons to bag a Playstation 5 for Christmas 2020. This beefy games console boasts a solid launch line-up, the revamped DualSense controller and a sleek new UI, to stand apart from the Xbox Series X. Compared vs the Xbox Series X, this definitely feels more like a next-gen console, from a surface level down. Yes, that design is divisive, and you'll need some good space for the imposing white tower. But Sony's revamped DualSense is undeniably a thing of beauty, with impressive immersion tech built in.

Likewise, the launch line-up of games on the Playstation 5 is more enticing, with Spiderman, Demon's Souls and the excellent Astro's Playroom all proving essential. In my review I also cover the PS5's impressive load times, despite a lack of Xbox Series X-style Quick Resume. Backwards Compatibility is also flawless, with God of War and other titles running seamlessly.

This Sony games console hits the UK on Thursday, and I'd recommend grabbing one if you're on the fence.
