Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Unboxing & Tour | Ultra-Lite?

Unboxing the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion, a £500 Moto smartphone that looks like the Ultra, but serves up slightly downgraded specs including a 50MP main camera. This hands-on Motorola Edge 30 Fusion review shows off the camera smarts, gaming performance on Genshin Impact, Moto features and more!

Although there's no 200MP optics on here, this phone can still shoot good looking photos as long as the lighting isn't too dodgy. You've still got 8K video smarts as well, or 4K at 60FPS. The Edge 30 Fusion doesn't have a dedicated portrait lens but I'm happy with the results all the same.

Gamers will enjoy the smooth performance, courtesy of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. It's a year old but it still packs some serious grunt for PubG, Genshin and anything else you fancy. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion also serves up a 4400mAh battery, with 68W wired charging - although there's no wireless charging, unlike the Ultra and Neo.

So is this one of the best mid-range smartphones for £500? Well, it has strong competition from the Nothing Phone 1, Pixel 6 etc but it's certainly a fun and gorgeous blower. Check out my reviews of alternative handsets here on Tech Spurt (if you want to, obvs).
