Four years of exile: Syrian refugees in Jordan
Ambitious and independently-minded, Kheirat, 22, from Dera’a, in Syria has made a new life for herself in Jordan. She works with young people and children in the sprawling Zaatari refugee camp in the desert, and is one of just a handful of young Syrians who has won a scholarship to continue her university studies.
