Breaking Speed Records Sailing To Madagascar! - Ep. 143

FINALLY! After two months of waiting in Seychelles, a weather window appeared to sail down to Madagascar. And Starry Horizons was not shy about showing how eager she was to be a sailboat again! She tied her all time speed record: sailing 209nm in a 24 hour period. Zoom, zoom!
The passage was still a bit rough with some decent sized waves and huge squalls. Rounding the tip of Madagascar brought a few heart pounding moments (at night of course!) thanks to a MASSIVE counter-current, but the passage went about as well as we could have possibly hoped and proved that waiting for the right weather was well worth it!
