DAY 4 : FLOWERS

Let’s colour flowers! I know, I return to this theme again and again but those blossoms make me so darn HAPPY!

Pick a couple of flowers from this page to colour, then grab your pencils and bring them to life. Don’t get bogged down worrying about colour palettes and whether they are the ‘right’ colours. All the blooms here are imagined, so there are NO right or wrong colours, only YOUR colours.

When I’m struggling with colour choice, I think it helps to limit your options. Select 3 or 4 pencils per flower and challenge yourself to colour the illustration in just those colours. I find less decisions makes for a much calmer colouring experience!

You can colour as many of the blooms as you like, just make sure you get your minimum 10 minutes creative time in!
