Typography Tutorial : Valentine's Typography

As Valentine's Day is fast approaching I wanted to share this little typography tutorial with you on how I create my inky botanical inspired lettering. Everyone knows that a gift handmade with love is something super special, so forget about roses, chocolates or comedy romance socks (!) and grab your pens and pencils to make something truly heartwarming!

You will need:
* An A4 template - use a computer to print out a word like LOVE in big letters. Small letters are fiddly and long words a little tedious..!
* Layout Paper. I've used Daler Rowney A3 paper
* Staedtler Mars Rotary pencil (0.5 B lead)
* Staedtler Black Pigment Liners (0.2 and 0.05)
* Eraser
* Pencil sharpener
* Colouring pencils - I used a Staedtler Ergosoft pencil
